The book Defund the Police is a small memorial to members of the black community that have been killed by police brutality. In the book there are 16 names of black men, women and children that were killed with a brief description of the report. I discuss the issues of police unrightfully being more forceful than they should because of people's skin color. Along with the problem that almost every cop that has wrongly killed a person of color has kept their job. Or they have been put on leave with pay, or transferred somewhere else. In this book only one cop went to jail for their crime and it happened to be a woman. Along with the factor that she knew what she did was wrong and pleaded guilty herself.
